Anti bark dog collars are one of the newest
training tools to hit the scene. These collars are there to teach and
train your dog not to bark whenever he feels like it. Basically how they
work is that they send small shocks to your dog when ever he barks. These
jolts begin very gently and slowly and increase with each bark until the
dog learns his lesson and stops barking. This is a very safe technique
however; there are many people who do not agree with the bark collars.
Many people are anti bark dog collar because they are wary about whether
or not these collars harm the animal. It is very normal for people to
assume that these collars are causing pain to the animal because after
all, they are getting jolts of electricity. What is not so understandable
is why people assume that any dog owner would be happy to harm their dog
just for the sake of a little bit of quiet.
The fact of the matter is that dogs bark and it is very annoying for both
dog owners and anyone else within earshot. These collars do not actually
hurt the dog, but actually causes a very large tingle that runs through
the whole body.
Of course, for those people that are anti bark dog collars, there is
always the non-shock training method of spraying citronella at the animal
with a citronella bark collar. This method is both humane and nothing to
make even the biggest animal rights activists happy.
