Anti Barking Dog Collar

An anti barking dog collar presents a quick
fix for the problem of s dog that barks excessively and annoys both you
and your neighbors. The are three types of dog collars available for you
to purchase:
A bark collar that emits high frequency sounds. The sound is audible only
to the dog and is very unpleasant. The dog stops barking as soon as it
hears the sound. It comes in two models- one that is a hand held remote
and can be activated by the owner, and the other is set outdoors to
control the barking in a 25 foot radius. This collar is not expensive, but
is only effective about 50% of the time.
A shock collar that delivers a small electric shock to the dog whenever it
barks. Although the shock is not harmful, this collar is controversial
among owners and vets. A person can activate the collar by a hand held
remote of use an automatic sensor. It is more effective than the sound
collar, but it does inflict slight pain on the dog.
A citronella collar is the most effective anti barking dog collar on the
market. After the dog barks, this collar releases a squirt of citronella
under the dog’s nose, startling the dog and hopefully distracting it from
barking again. The strange odor combined with the dog’s keen sense of
smell is a better deterrent to barking than the other two methods and is
not painful in any way. This collar is more effective if it is only worn
on various occasions, rather than continually because it is very heavy and
may not be suitable for small dogs.
