People used to have two choices when it came
to a dog’s barking. They could either yell at the dog every time it barked
or they could hit it with a newspaper. Neither of those are serving a

methods only serve to confuse your pet rather than cure the barking. They
also have a tendency to make the dog more aggressive as well.

control dog trainers that will help you with training your dog not to bark
at the wrong time. Many dog just follow the old methods, but the smarter
dog owner knows that there are other options. It is great if the dog barks
for a burglar because it is a great warning system, however if the barking
never ends, training must be involved.
If you want to give yourself, your neighbors and your dog a good night’s
sleep, it is best to train the needless barks out of your dog. many of the
bark collars send a jolt of electricity to the dog that is harmless. These
collars are more for the surprise factor and are not painful. However, if
you are really concerned, you can use the citronella spray bark collar
instead which only sprays the dog with citronella that is completely safe
for your pet and not at all poisonous.
