Bark Dog
***
Why do dogs bark? The bark of a dog is the
same as human talk- it is the dog’s way of communicating. The breed of the
dog has a lot to do with its barking habits because some dogs are supposed
to bark a lot, such as hound dogs and those that are trained as guard
dogs. However, all dogs will bark in alarm when they perceive a threat
wither to them or to their owner. There are also other reasons that a dog
barks. There may be a physical need for food, water or shelter or the dog
may be ill. Through the barking, the dog is trying to let its owner know
that it wants something. A dog barks when it is lonely, bored or scared.
There may be something that triggers the barking episode that the dog
really doesn’t like.
An owner can tell from the bark of the dog whether it is happy or angry. A
dog will bark playfully in little yelps when it is playing and an angry
bark is much deeper and louder because the dog wants to attract attention.
For a dog that does tend to bark a lot, the backyard is not the best place
to leave a dog. Dogs like to band together and the barking of one dog will
start a sequence of barking from all the dogs within hearing distance.
Dogs that are left outdoors are the ones most likely to cause problems by
barking excessively.
When you want the dog to stop barking at night, one thing you can do is to
increase the amount of physical exercise that the dog gets during the day.
Being out in the fresh air and running a lot will reduce the barking
because the dog will be too tired to bark.
